Welcome to the VE75 Festival Skegness, a 3 day family festival celebrating the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. The VE75 Festival will also incorporate a retro festival and include feature flypasts, live big bands, military reenactments, vintage military and civillian vehicles, scooters, motorcycles and stalls. 

All taking place at the brand new East Coast Showground on Burgh Road, Skegness.

The Glen Miller Orchestra UK

The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK was formed in 1988 in conjunction with Glenn Miller Productions of New York. The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK has maintained the exact line-up on stage devised by Glenn, consisting of the leader, five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones and three rhythm plus a male and female vocalist.

The Band’s library comprises of more than 200 scores, many of them from the original library, which includes the great arrangements from both the civilian and Army/Air Force orchestras. The library features contributions from the world’s greatest arrangers including Jerry Gray, Billy May and Bill Finegan.

We’re going to take you back in time with music from the likes of Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters and Gracie Fields.

Kirsten Orsborn

Kirsten Orsborn is an acclaimed Welsh singer and Forces Sweetheart for the Royal Marines

Kirsten has been singing since the age of 7 and is a strong charity supporter who does as much as she can, whenever she can for all the charities very close to her heart. Known as The Forces Sweetheart, she has performed at military bases across the UK continuing to support our troops all over the world with her music.

SkaBurst UK

Andy Ska is a on man multi-instrumental tribute show to call things 2Tone, Ska & Reggae. The show features live Saxophone, Guitar & Vocals with hits from Madness, The Specials, Eddy Grant, UB40, The Lambrettas etc

Vintage Mobile Cinema

The Vintage Mobile Cinema will be available throughout the whole weekend showing 1940’s films and informational broadcasts.

Lincolnshire Lindy Hop Club with DJ Dr Swing

With a whole host of dance classes, workshops and performances throughout the entire weekend. Join in or watch the Lincolnshire Lindy Hop club.

Mainly Madness

Mainly Madness are a group of Two Tone loving musicians that bring the Madness experience. Not only are Mainly Madness a tribute to the great band itself but also a celebration of Two Tone and Ska, which include such inspirational bands as The Specials, Bad Manners and The Beat to name a few.This fantastic genre of music manages to make you smile and stomp your feet to the rock steady beat. Whether male, female, young or old, Mainly Madness will leave you wanting more
